Senior QA Engineer Job Description: We are currently seeking a Senior QA Engineer to take be responsibility for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing. As a Senior QA Engineer at Sage, you will ensure that software meets business and user requirements through rigorous testing. This includes identifying and documenting defects, tracking issues through resolution, and leveraging testing frameworks and tools to maintain quality and reliability. *** Please note that this role is hybrid and will require you to work 3 days a week from our Cluj office. *** Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing. • Execute and manage tests to ensure software quality. • Document and track bugs and issues. • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements. • Conduct regression testing and ensure resolved issues do not reoccur. • Analyse test results and provide recommendations for improvements. • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and tools. • Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and methodologies. Requirements • Proficiency in automation testing, with Python and Playwright preferred. • Ability to perform both automated and manual testing. • Understanding of DevOps configurations, with AWS as a plus. • Skills in developing and maintaining test plans and test cases. • Experience in executing and managing tests to uphold software quality. • Strong ability to document, track, and resolve bugs. • Experience mentoring junior QA engineers and supporting their development.
