Senior QA Engineer (Fixed-Term Contract)
Job Description

Join our QA team at Zendesk QA (formerly Klaus) to ensure the quality of a cutting-edge customer service quality assurance solution! We are looking for a new member who has day-to-day experience in writing and fixing Cypress tests, but also eager to perform manual testing in a cross-functional team. Your skills and contribution can ensure the stability of our platform in order to deliver a smooth experience for our customers.

Our quickly expanding, international team has embraced the innovative mindset from day one. We are looking to expand our Engineering team and seeking candidates for a hybrid role based in Estonia.

What you will be doing

Play the role of an automation engineer - design, develop, and maintain automated tests.Performing code reviews and providing feedback to your peers.Combine automated and manual testing during the 6-week development cycle and in parallel with off-cycle developments. Identify and report any issues found, also confirm that these issues have been resolved.Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand how changes might impact the existing system and identify potential risks.Take full ownership of your projects - ensure that the development cycle follows our QA processes, schedule, and requirementsBe open to assisting your teammates, sharing your knowledge with them, and learning from them.What you will bring to the role5+ years of experience with software testing.Working experience with implementing and maintaining automated tests (Typrescript & Cypress).Skilled in manual testing, both UI and API.Ability to swiftly and smoothly transition between tasks under high pressure.Able to communicate openly and not afraid to ask questions.Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to comprehend both the big picture and the details within it.Have a high level of self-organization skills, ownership, and responsibility to work efficiently with minimal supervision.Comfortable with working remotely in English across departmentsExcellent written and spoken communication skills.
