Job Description

We at Miller Knoll are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Test Engineer Specializing in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems to join our dynamic team. The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for leading and executing end-to-end quality assurance activities, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and functionality of ERP solutions. This role involves working closely with development, business, and implementation teams to test and validate ERP system modules, integrations, and customizations.

This person should have experience in writing and executing both manual and automated test cases.

The individual should also demonstrate a strong understanding of the ERP Systems and have experience of working on the different ERP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, HR, CRM, etc. If you’re the kind of person who is willing to manually test as well as build automated test scripts when and where possible, while simultaneously influencing the future of testing for a world-class organization, this position is for you. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Test Planning and Strategy:

o Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on ERP system requirements and use cases.

o Define the overall quality assurance strategy, including manual and automated testing approaches for ERP implementations and upgrades. o Identify test metrics, track progress, and report on test execution and defect status.

• Test Execution:

o Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing across different ERP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, HR, CRM, etc.

o Execute manual and automated test scripts to ensure ERP solutions meet business requirements and technical specifications.

o Test ERP system customizations, workflows, reports, and third-party integrations.

• Automation and Performance Testing:

o Identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing activities and create automated test suites using appropriate tools and frameworks mainly Selenium WebDriver.

o Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the ERP system meets scalability and performance benchmarks using JMeter.

• Collaboration and Communication:

o Work closely with development, business analysts, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the ERP development lifecycle. o Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders regarding test results, defects, and potential risks. o Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers and contribute to overall process improvements.

• Defect Tracking and Management:

o Log, track, and manage defects in the defect management system like Jira / Zephyr, ensuring they are resolved efficiently.

o Participate in root cause analysis for issues discovered during testing and provide input on solutions to improve product quality.

• Compliance and Documentation: o Ensure that testing adheres to compliance standards, such as data privacy, security protocols, and industry-specific regulations.

o Maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, test cases, test results, and any issues encountered. Essential experience, Skills & Knowledge To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet all the criteria listed below

• 8+ years prior experience in quality assurance with focus on ERP system (Example: SAP, Oracle, Syteline, etc.).

• Hands-on experience in testing multiple ERP modules such as Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and CRM

• 8+ years prior experience in creating, maintaining, and running automated test scripts using Selenium Webdriver for ERP modules.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. (Selenium, JMeter etc.)

• Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum frameworks.

• Proficient in working with defect and test management tools (preferably JIRA and Zephyr).

• Expertise in writing detailed Functional and Non-Functional testing using the developed Zephyr test cases.

• Strong knowledge of working on different X-Paths to find web elements.

• Hands-on experience with automation projects using Maven, TestNG, POM, and Apache POI.

• Proficient in working with Regression Testing using the TestNG suite for multiple browsers.

• Familiarity with different version control systems like GIT, Bitbucket, etc.

• Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools using Jenkins.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technologies or equivalent work experience. Ideal candidate

• Someone with a keen eye for detail, a penchant for quality and a passion for process.

• Strong advocate for the value position of Quality Assurance and thorough testing.

• Graduate / post-graduate in computer science / technology or equivalent degree/experience

• Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal in English

• A minimum of 8 years of application testing experience on ERP and Web application platforms.

• Ability to work individually or within a team environment

• Willing to work in UK / US shift on need basis

• Ability to participate in multiple projects / tasks and priorities in a healthy work environment

• Uses a constructive approach when providing feedback

• Ability to take direction, constructive criticism and work to specified deadlines.

• Adhere to process and procedures defined for the role, the team and the organization.

• Certified on one or more of the core process areas of work. Reporting structure
