Senior QAQC Inspector
Job Objective:
To assist and support QA/QC Engineers/ Manager to perform QA/QC surveilllance activities as per shipyard quality assurance and control plans and other relevant quality standards.
Oversee, manage, administer and allot activities conducted by QA/QC Inspectors to ensure adherence to shipyard quality procedures and practices. 

Roles & Responsibilities: Oversee and allot jobs for QA-QC inspectors covering ongoing marine projects Monitor, instruct and guide QA-QC Inspectors in discharging inspection/ surveillance activities effectively Intervene to resolve any the areas of dispute arising out of quality surveillances involving client and or other internal functions Carry out visual inspections and dimensional confirmations as per production drawing inspections Prepare NDT reports and submit to QA/QC Manager for review & approval Carry out ultrasonic thickness gauging and prepare the reports as per class requirements using AUTOCAD drawing methods and TM software.
Coating Inspection: Carry out coating inspector responsibilities including : Execute the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site Issue the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to Quality Control Supervisor non-conformances reports Control of storage and certification of consumables Perform qualifications of coating processes Check surface preparation
NOC Subsea hose Scope Responsible for the following activities related to the subject scope: Responsible for the NOC Hose storage area ensuring safe custody and preservation of customer property Plan, organize and conduct SPM hose inspection and testing in keeping with the forecasted schedule of the client Ensure availability of necessary resources (manpower, equipment and tools) in liaison with project management for effective conduction of assigned scope of work Ensure activities are risk assessed and personnel involved are competent to perform the jobs
Qualifications:

Education & Professional Qualification: 3 year Diploma in any of the engineering discipline (mechanical/production/metallurgy)  CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent ASNT Level II (UT/PT/MPT/ RT)  Professional Experience: Minimum 5 year post qualification experience in any of the heavy engineering industries like shipyard/ dockyard, heavy fabrication industries.
