Senior QHSSE Advisor Netherlands

Job Description

Fugro is on the lookout for a passionate Senior QHSSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) Advisor. In this role, you'll be at the heart of developing, implementing, and maintaining our QHSSE compliance policies and procedures. You'll join a lively and dynamic team, working closely with the QHSSE Manager Netherlands, and collaborating with a central organization that supports all Fugro operating companies in the Netherlands.

What you will do

Besides maintaining our management systems, you'll handle various project and compliance tasks. If you have experience in environmental science, safety, business administration, or quality management in a high-risk industrial environment, that's a big plus!

You'll be involved in programs focused on safety culture, social sustainability, awareness, behavior, vitality, and safety in the broadest sense.

As a key player, you'll consult with stakeholders within and outside the Dutch organization, sharing your expertise.

You'll represent Fugro in regular network meetings with clients, sharing valuable knowledge and experience in tactical and operational discussions. On-site project support and location visits will also be part of your role.

You'll work closely with the international advisory team of the Europe/Africa QHSSE organization. You'll actively participate in initiatives for optimizing and continuously improving QHSSE performance within our region. The Netherlands plays a crucial advisory role in this.

What you have to offer

A technical higher professional education (HBO) level with several years of practical experience in ISO standards, laws and regulations, and continuous improvement methods in a similar national and international organization.

The ability to quickly analyze and evaluate information, identify trends, and support initiatives for performance improvement.

A willingness to keep learning and growing.

Strong communication skills to effectively implement objectives and programs for performance improvement within the organization. You're a team player who values collaboration, openness, creativity, and constructive and critical thinking.

Experience with systematic investigation of incidents (RCA).

Fluency in Dutch and English.
