The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for analyzing and testing project deliverables throughout the Proxy and Smart applications life cycles to ensure that business and technical requirements are met.
Key Job Functions/Responsibilities
Create manual and automated test plans, scripts and test cases for configuration changes, and programming enhancements.
Quickly learn the functionality, identify test requirements, and create or obtain test data.
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, automation, and acceptance testing, and report defects and test results.
Work with partners, internal customers, and internal teams to diagnose and resolve test issues.
Develop, test, and document new operational procedures (revise and test established procedures).
Verifies all appropriate testing deliverables are met, including status reports, test plans, test cases, bug tracking, release checklists, and postmortem reports.
Collaborate with Application Designers/Developers and System Solution partners, to design and execute test cases.
Ensure that developed tests can be leveraged in the future through appropriate stewardship of test models, test data, and test processes.
Make operational system procedure recommendations to Management and the Development team.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the standard software and systems utilized in the business that are within the scope for development changes.
Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as necessary.
Mentor new hires/train team members for Broadridge products and test tools, including automation test scripts.
Review test cases/scripts written by other team members.

Basic Skill Level Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of training and on the job experience
QA certifications, such as the Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), Certified Manager of Software Quality (CMSQ), are an asset.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the IT, Outsourcing Services, or Financial industry is required.
Strong understanding and interpretation of requirements and technical documents
Proficiency with Oracle, Unix (Linux and AIX), SQL, and Windows environments
Experience in Agile SDLC model
Understanding of Java technology and Java application environments
Experience creating test plans and cases, using JIRA, Confluence
Programming experience is an asset.
Skills:
Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to communicate with non-technical staff about technical issues
Ability to communicate with management, all levels of the organization, and clients, as well as presenting technical information in a clear and concise manner
Excellent teamwork skills and a service-oriented attitude are essential.
Ability to create and maintain positive peer and client relationships
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and quick learner with excellent, proven problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
