Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Test Engineer Senior to join our team. You will work in Baltimore as a member of the Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) Testing Team. You will conduct software validation (acceptance testing) for the Office of Child Support Enforcement expanded Federal Parent Locator Service for all lines of business.

Responsibilities:

Review the changes mentioned in the change request

Prepare test data, test plan and test cases

Execute the testing

Report the test results

Assist with Subject-7 automation

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience creating and executing JCL in Z/OS mainframe environment Strong knowledge of IBM Utilities and TSO/ISPF is requiredExperience with various mainframe file and data manipulation tools such as Syncsort, Fileaid for VSAM, DB2 and SPUFI Experience testing at least one relational database such as DB2, Oracle, Postgres, or SQL Server is required.Experience with various forms of Testing such as System, Acceptance, and Regression is requiredExperience with testing of web applicationsExperience with Industry Standard Testing Methodologies and Process
