The Role
We're hiring experienced Senior Quality Engineers to work on Veeva Vault, a rapidly growing SaaS platform product in the Life Sciences industry encompassing the fields of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical devices.
As part of our Quality Assurance and Release Engineering team, you'll be responsible for functional and automation testing to deliver a top-quality SaaS product. This is a hands-on position playing a vital role in ensuring customer success with each new release.

We welcome applicants from all time zones.What You'll DoCreate testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports assessing quality and associated riskAutomate and work closely with the automation group to automate features for better regression coverageTriage and/or assist with triaging of automation resultsDevelop deep expertise in the productConduct QA tests and verify outcomes within schedules/timelinesWork with software engineers, product managers, and other QA testers in an Agile team environmentOperate at architecture and code level, driving technical discussions during design/implementation reviewsBe the technical QA expert in functional areas and influencing decisions that will help build quality into the productBe comfortable providing technical leadership to junior teammates, enabling them to achieve targeted goalsConduct POCs and make recommendations that would help raise the quality barEnhance your knowledge of code coverage tools and metricsWork with QA management to come up with new processes and roll them out across the organizationBecome a technical contributor, a product expert, and a team project manager and support your QA manager as and when you work on the productRequirementsBachelor’s in Mathematics or Computer Science/Applications or a similar fieldExperience coding in Java AND/OR mobile languagesUnderstanding of Software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches (black box and/or automated testing) in a software company with short-release cyclesExperience in writing test cases and automating them, covering both sanity and in-depth testing including and not limited to boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency testsRelevant work experience, including software development and/or software test automationCuriosity and ability to quickly learn new technologiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven leadership/mentorship experience that will take you further in your career pathNice to HaveExperience in Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming languageExperience with Atlassian products like Jira, ConfluenceExperience authoring automated tests in standard functional test automation frameworks. e.g., Cucumber/Selenium/TestNgKnowledge of modern best practices for software developmentExperience in a SaaS environment that has an agile development process is a huge plusExperience working with remote teamsExperience working in the Health Sciences and Life Sciences industryExperience in Mobile Testing and Automation – Appium, XCUI, Espresso, KIFExperience in Mobile Apps Development (Android/iOS)Perks & BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and basic life insuranceFlexible PTO and company paid holidaysRetirement programs1% charitable giving programCompensationBase pay: $90,000 - $165,000The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role.
