The project will touch on and impact a significant portion of the process and systems used in the facility.  The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing inspection processes, tooling, equipment, and systems that are used in the inspection of components manufactured in the facility.  Roles & Responsibilities:Manage end to end effort for the development and deployment of new production processes and equipment for quality responsibilities.Develop the inspection planning, CMM and other inspection gaging requirements.Validation of CMM/auto-inspection programs for optimization.Identify and design inspection methods for production processes with the goal of process capability and operator feedbackMaintain and control process documentation of production processes.Work with Manufacturing Engineers to develop gauging and systems to support product conformance. Troubleshooting and continuous improvement of inspection processes.Develop paperless shopfloor documentation systems.Assist production in the prove-out and debugging of new processes.Follow prescribed work rules and safety standards.Take ownership of project goals and objectives to ensure project success

Qualification & Requirement:Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Material).At least 5 years’ of relevant working experience.Knowledge of: CMM, auto-inspection method, inspection tooling and metrology technology knowledge.Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 blueprint readingBe flexible and adapt to changing priorities.Develop and manage a project from concept to implementation.Analyze information and solve problems quickly.Experience with metrology standards and equipment.Demonstrate high level of attention to details.Basic MS Excel, Word skills.
