Job Overview TE Connectivity’s Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced design quality and reliability engineer to join the Sensor EMEA Quality Engineering Team in Toulouse, it´s part of TE Sensors Quality Organization. This role focuses on ensuring the design quality of sensor products from project definition to production release, enabling flawless product launches across Industrial, Automotive and Industrial & Transportation (ICT) markets. This role will engage with various Engineering Centers of Expertise and manufacturing plants globally/focus region EMEA.

Profile:
Experience: Minimum of 10 Years’ Experience in design quality / advanced quality for stage gate product development under the IATF framework, with knowledge of key deliverables such as APQP, Product Requirements, FMEA, FTA, DV and PV plans, Control Plan, Production Process Qualification, PPAP documentation and customer approval. Proficiency with Quality Tools: Experience with Six Sigma (DFSS/DMAIC), Automotive Core Cools (APQP, FMEA, SPC, Control Plan, MSA, PPAP/PPA), 8D, Problem Solving including Root Cause Analysis. Knowledge of Quality Standards: Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ASPICE, AIAG and VDA. Strong communication skills Audit experience (e.g. internal, external, process audit or customer audits) Willingness to travel as required, 10~25%

Experience participating VDA 6.3 Process Audits, customer audits, IATF audits Bachelor or Master in Engineering or related discipline Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification Proficiency with Software: Minitab (statistical software) & APIS FMEA Software or comparable. Familiarity with AEC-Q standards such as AEC-Q100 / Q101 / Q200 or others Experience in sensor technology (MEMS, ASIC, Software) or electronic product development Experience in manufacturing process qualification required for industrialization for semiconductor/electronic components or electronic products. ISO 13485 / 17025 LEAN development experiences
