Senior Quality Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies, identifying and resolving software defects, and driving continuous improvement in our software development lifecycle.

We are looking for someone with:

Bachelor’s degree, notably in computer information science or computer science10+ years Experience in software quality assuranceExpert in writing broad test plans and test casesExpert in Cucumber, Selenium and open-source testing frameworksExpert in different testing techniques i.e. UI testing, Automated testing; familiar with behaviour driven testingCollaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methodsConstantly learns from both success and failureGood verbal and written communication; effectively articulates technical vision, possibilities, and outcomesGood organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasionExperiments with emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next

On the job you will:

Reviews and translates requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback to product developersCreates, maintains and executes automation test scriptsAnalyzes automation results and investigate failuresDesigns detailed and comprehensive test plans and test casesPerform regression testing when bugs are resolvedIdentifies KPIs for product qualityTracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities, defect frequency first time pass rateKeeps up-to-date on latest test software and frameworksDrives software development process to quality-centric methodologiesIdentifies Quality Assurance process bottlenecks and design and implement solutionsControls, updates and distributes new and revised quality standards and technical changesPrepares and deliver formal quality audit reports
