Overview of role

 

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will assist the Associate/Projects Director or other defined line manager in business management, sales and the running of a cost consultancy team and subsequent achievement of project and business goals.

 

What you will contribute to the Mott MacDonald team; 

Assist with the management of a Cost Consultancy teamTake part in contract reviews relating to the contract with the customerAssist in the preparation of monthly management reports/liaison with sub-divisional managerAssist with securing new and repeat business in line with the sub-divisional budgetComply with QES system and Group/Unit directivesPreparation of estimates and cost plans in line with the briefPotential to engage with line management duties

 

Required for the position Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Degree qualified in a Quantity Surveying subject (or equivalent)Proven skills and experience of delivering within a Cost ConsultancyDemonstrable track record of working in the management services environmentExpertise in stakeholder managementFlexibility in work location and travelPrevious experience of working on nuclear projects preferredPlease be advised that offers for this role are conditional upon obtaining the appropriate level of Security Clearance
