We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Quantity Surveyor** to join our team for a large-scale luxury project. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial background, proven experience in managing cost control, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting for complex developments. Experience in GCC countries and working on mega projects is essential. **What You'll Be Doing** • Oversee and manage all cost-related aspects of the project, ensuring financial efficiency and contract compliance. • Prepare and monitor budgets, cost estimates, and value engineering strategies to optimize project expenses. • Lead procurement processes, including tendering, contract negotiation, and bid evaluations. • Administer contracts, including FIDIC and bespoke agreements, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. • Conduct risk assessments, dispute resolution, and claims management in collaboration with legal and contract teams. • Coordinate with engineering, design, and construction teams to ensure alignment of commercial and technical aspects. • Prepare progress reports, financial statements, and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with GCC regulations, taxation policies, and industry best practices. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (RICS certification preferred). • 12+ years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on luxury hospitality, residential, and infrastructure projects. • Proven track record of working on mega projects ($500M+ value). • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, cost management software (e.g., Cost, Primavera), and GCC construction regulations. • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. • Experience in working with PMC, consultants, and contractors within the GCC market. • Previous roles in Tier 1 PMC or consultancy firms. • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
