CGI is seeking to hire a Senior React NodeJS AWS Engineer who can work in a high paced agile environment. Engineer must be a highly motivated, well-rounded, self-starter that works best in a collaborative, dynamic, agile environment.
This position can be located in Raleigh, NC (Preferred), Lafayette, LA in a hybrid working model.
Single point of contact for a greenfield Cloud Application to participate in technical architecture and work with Product Owner to translate functional requirements to technical requirements.
• Primary point of contact for technical questions related to the application development.
• Flexible and quick to react to environmental support and have good decision making skill to prioritize the environmental issues/requests.
• Resolve technical issues from offshore developers
• Bring right engineering practices including Branching/Merging, CI CD, TDD/BDD and be prepared to challenge and be challenged by current Engineering leads.
• 100% Hands-on development
• Work effectively in SAFe Agile setting and Document technical analysis in Confluence.
At least 8+ years of relevant experience in the must have skills.
Candidate should be very familiar with advanced concepts and have relevant, hands-on experience in many of the following areas to be a successful contributor on the team:
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
Experience building and maintaining AWS cloud-native applications with extensive experience in Lambda and ECS/EKS.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
Strong familiarity with the most current HTML/CSS standards
Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript is a plus.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs design and development using Node JS
Designing and integrating third-party APIs into Node.js applications.
Experience with unit testing using libraries like Jest.
Knowledge of modern authentication/authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, third party auth services like OKTA is a plus.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
As a Lead Involve in technical discussion with Engineering lead and Architects
Create and manage a Docker deployment pipeline for custom application images in the cloud using Jenkins.
Experience in both RDBMS and No-SQL DB
Experience in Healthcare insurance domain.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,200 - $154,300.
