The current opening is embedded in the Cyber and Professional Lines Group who focuses on Cyber and Tech, Professional Lines and Reinsurance. This team operates with high agility, to be a leading competitor in the Cyber Insurance landscape and is looking for a strong recruiter to join the team.

As a Senior Recruiter you will manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process for roles critical to business functions such as Information Technology, Actuary, HR, Underwriting and other growing functions. From the creation of a performance profile to gaining the candidate’s acceptance, you will drive the full cycle of our talent acquisition process helping to establish our reputation as an employer of choice. You will engage candidates and ensure their candidate experience is unique to TMHCC and unforgettably positive. In this role. you will collaborate with HR Business Partners, hiring leaders and other stakeholders providing strategic guidance, by designing a campaign, using data driven insights and leveraging your business acumen, to drive influence and attract the future talent of Tokio Marine HCC.

In this unique opportunity you will:

Partner with business units to understand hiring needs and develop proactive recruitment strategies to attract top talent.Lead full cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, posting, evaluating resumes, prescreening applicants, interviewing, evaluating skills, and negotiating compensation packages.Provide full lifecycle recruiting to including sourcing, evaluating resumes, prescreening applicants, interviewing, performing reference checks, evaluating skills, and negotiating compensation packages.Utilize a variety of recruitment tools and channels including, social media, job boards, CRM/ATS tools, and other candidate engagement or recruitment advertising channels as needed.Oversee the pre-employment processes including offers, reference checks, and required pre-employment screening.Review ROI of recruiting efforts as well as monitor and manage the recruiting process to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Build relationships and trust through delivering qualified candidates in a timely manner, demonstrating pro-active follow-up and communications and delivering upon commitments.Engage with other talent team members to problem-solve, support and grow as functional experts in the space of recruiting.Utilize a lens of Diversity and Inclusion when evaluating, recommending, and guiding candidates, hiring managers and other stakeholders through the evaluation and selection processAttend conferences, networking events, and other related opportunities to stay abreast of key trends and focus areas within the expertise domain of Talent Acquisition and overall talent management.Collaborate with business leaders to prioritize their hiring needs, set expectations, and deploy an efficient interview process and high touch experience for every candidate and client. Create lasting relationships with hiring managers where you become their talent advisor and consultative partner.Design, implement, and execute sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and cultivate active and passive job seekers from core and emerging sources.Use your talent market expertise, data, and business acumen to educate and influence hiring managers on how to identify and acquire the best talent.Contribute to a highly collaborative, creative, and high-performing team by serving as a model for partnership, mentorship, and integrity.

 Skills and experience needed to succeed:

You have at least 5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience, ideally 3 or more years in a corporate environment.Strong ability to interview and assess candidate skills based on performance driven behaviors.You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality.You are experienced in sourcing for roles from entry level to leadership.You have a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related fieldWilling to be in office 3 days per week in Encino, CA

For candidates working in person or remotely in the following locations, the reasonable pay range for this specific position is Encino, CA, and Walnut Creek, CA, $97,800 - $134,500 annually.   The salary offered for this specific position is based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company.
