Our client, a national leader in transportation services, has partnered with Stacey Danley at Aplin on the search for a Senior Recruitment Specialist. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this is an ideal role for an experienced recruiter looking to take their career to the next level.
Benefits and Perks:Competitive starting salary and performance incentivesExcellent benefits and RRSP matching programTraining and tuition reimbursementA chance to work with a dynamic HR teamResponsibilities:Work closely with the HR team to improve existing recruitment processes and develop best practicesSource, screen, interview and assess candidatesMake recommendations to hiring managers across the organizationOrganize and attend national recruitment fairs and tradeshowsWork with the recruitment administration to ensure hiring paperwork is completeResearch and recommend new recruitment strategiesCollaborate with the communication team on advertising and social media campaignsTrack recruitment metrics and report on key issuesConduct ‘stay interviews’ to improve employee retentionQualifications:Post-secondary education related to Human Resources, transportation, or business administration3+ years of recruitment experience in a high-volume environmentPrevious experience with transportation or driver recruitment is a strong assetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with an eye for detailProficiency with MS OfficePlease note this is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, located in-office.
