Senior Regional Director, Regional Medical Science Liaisons
**General Description:** The **Senior** **Regional Director (SRD) (US) – Regional Medical Science Liaisons (RMSL)** , will support the Executive Director of the Field Medical Team, by overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Regional MSL team, a newly formed team focused on educating community HCPs and Targeted Accounts on BeiGene Hematology and Oncology (Brukinsa and Tevimbra) FDA approved medicines. The Senior Regional Director will be part of the Field Medical Leadership Team and contribute to the BeiGene Field Medical strategy across the portfolio. The SRD will be expected to lead special projects, which may involve all or several members of the national FMD team, including those who may not be direct reports. As a leader in the organization, the incumbent will be accountable to develop regional and national strategies to support enduring and compliant relationships in Targeted Accounts The incumbent will play a key role in the establishment of BeiGene as a valued collaborator and best-in-class biopharmaceutical company while exemplifying BeiGene Core Values. This role will work closely with Field Sales roles, Targeted Account teams and other Commercial roles to support the education of community HCPs. The SRD will communicate the RMSL role, its goals, and objectives, and become a strategic partner to BeiGene roles beyond Medical Affairs including Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and HQ stakeholders. The SRD will be responsible for the strategic direction of the team, the successful development of performance metrics, will oversee the execution of the RMSL deliverables and will work closely with the VP of North America Medical Affairs, Executive Director, Field Medical, other Regional Directors, HQ Medical Directors, Compliance and other Global Medical Affairs roles to be successful in the role. **Responsibilities:** + People Leadership and Development + Oversee the daily activities of the Field Medical Team while providing executive-level support for MA leadership. + Ensure the RMSL team establishes and maintains scientifically credible and compliant peer-to-peer scientific relationships with healthcare providers. + Provides impactful feedback/information to internal stakeholders on emerging clinical and scientific trends. + Build strong relationships with internal experts and works cross functionally to achieve overall company goals. + Identify continuous process improvement opportunities. + Develop, track, execute and report on RMSL goals and objectives. + Support Medical Affairs budget planning and management. + Be accountable for compliant business practices and input to Compliance Guides for team. As a leader in the organization, the incumbent will be accountable to help assure that activities are executed within expected scope, budget, and timelines; will assure best-in-class global capabilities and service; and will play a key role in the establishment, leadership, and growth of the following areas: + Scientific Exchange with health care providers including in office or off-site programs. + Proactive presentations or response to field sales requests to educate HCPs on approved indications of approved products or disease state education. + Medical Affairs Advisory Boards & Symposia. + Medical Conference / Congress Support + Training Support for MA staff & Support for Training of Commercial Colleagues + Collaboration with internal stakeholders including Clinical, Marketing and Sales + Responding to Unsolicited Medical Information Requests + Insights Gathering and Training **Required Experience:** + Experience managing field medical roles preferred + Five plus years of experience and success within another biotech/pharmaceutical company and management experience + Professional knowledge and skills working with malignant hematology and solid tumor. + Demonstrated strategic leadership skills with interpersonal skills to foster achievement of goals and employee development. + Prior successful collaboration with home-office based functions required. + Working knowledge of applicable Federal and State Compliance guidelines and regulations expected. + Experience with the ensuring adherence to SOPs and policies expected. + Understanding of Health Economics and Product Access through Payers preferred. + Leadership skills to inspire and motivate others. + Value-based Leader collaborator – respectful, accountable, and collaborative + Thoughtful and accurate written and verbal scientific communication + Initiative-taking & reactive problem solving and risk-mitigation skills. + Confident, enthusiastic, and supportive of direct reports and executive management + Strategic and creative thinker + Ability to build working relations throughout the organization and with business partners to achieve business goals. + Strong time management and organizational skills + Ability to manage multiple individuals in a fast paced, purposeful environment. **Communication & Interpersonal Skills:** ·Excellent verbal and written skills to exude respectful, confident, and concise style. **Supervisory Responsibilities:** + Yes **Travel:** ·Willingness to travel extensively (50-60% of time) **Computer Skills:** + Skilled in multiple computer-based tools, in addition to software programs such as Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. + PC & iPad literacy required, MSOffice skills.
