Senior Relationship Officer

We are seeking a talented individual to join Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Puerto Rico. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Senior Relationship Officer is responsible for managing and enhancing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving business growth. This role involves developing strategic partnerships, identifying client needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs. The Senior Relationship Officer will work closely with various internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support to clients.

We will count on you to:

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their business needs and objectives.Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Business Development:

Identify opportunities for business growth within existing client accounts and pursue new client relationships.Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding service offerings.

Client Needs Assessment:

Conduct regular assessments of client needs and preferences to provide customized solutions.Gather feedback from clients to improve service delivery and enhance client satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery.Coordinate with product development teams to communicate client feedback and influence product enhancements.

Performance Monitoring:

Track and analyze client engagement metrics to measure the effectiveness of relationship management strategies.Prepare and present reports on client performance and relationship status to senior management.

Training and Mentorship:

Provide guidance and support to junior relationship officers and other team members.Share best practices and contribute to the development of training materials for the team.

What you need to have: 

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in relationship management, networking, client services, business growth management or a similar role.Proven track record of managing client relationships at the C - Level and driving business growth.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office SuitAdvanced English skills.Strong negotiation & influencing skills. Self-motivated, problem solving/solution oriented with goal setting.
