Role Overview
Develop and implement reliability strategies for fixed equipment engineering, including crushers, gearboxes, and mills. Conduct condition monitoring and analysis to identify potential issues and recommend solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime. Utilize reliability engineering principles to improve asset management and maintenance practices. Provide technical support for drilling operations and troubleshoot any equipment failures. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Maintain accurate documentation and records of equipment performance and maintenance activities. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost savings. Train and mentor junior engineers on reliability engineering best practices.Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Engineering, applied physics or equivalent. 5 years or more experience in reliability or conditioning monitoring roles. In-depth knowledge of reliability engineering, asset condition management, crushers, gearboxes, mills, and other fixed plant equipment. Mining experience or related field. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work onsite in Hidden Valley, Morobe, Papua New Guinea.Education & Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, applied physics or equivalent preferred. Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in reliability engineering or related field.Pay & Benefits
