Job Description Summary

The Senior Reporting and Data Analyst will be responsible for executing data enrichments, designing and generating reports, and providing crucial support for data initiatives within the procurement organization. This person will lead in resolving complex data challenges during product rollouts, and will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Procurement, Executives and Managers in Business Units, Product Owners, and Technical resources to drive leadership decision making as well as an influence on field employee activities.

The successful candidate for this role will be a Data, Analytics and Visualization SME for the team and will need to be able to perform independently. This professional will need to produce high quality documentation, reporting analyses and dynamic visualizations.
 

Essential Job Duties include:

Execute data enrichments between source systems and the spend technology leveraged GloballyDesign and generate reports and data visualizations for Stakeholder use and consumption.Support the Data needs on all data initiatives for the Salesforce platform.Liaise with Procurement, Business Units, Product Owners and Data Techs to ensure dashboard design and builds meet business requirements and align with the data and tabular model.Lead data assessment exercises in support of the business strategy, projects and initiatives.Lead data mapping exercises to support system integration projects.Drive continuous improvement in the automation and standardization of data requirements.Partner with the development team to expand report offerings through dashboard POCs, tabular model measure development and product feature enhancements.Utilize advanced analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx and AWS tools to transform data, automate workflows and develop analytical tools.Work effectively with all areas of the business to identify required dashboard visualizations and associated calculations to build dashboards.Technical documentation and process documentation as required for activities within the data workstreamProvide guidance and training to the impacted stakeholder team employees reporting and dashboard capabilities.Offer guidance and education on the utilization and interpretation of business dataAddress both scheduled and ad-hoc information needs of business usersUtilize expertise in Business Intelligence capabilities and awareness of business trends to identify patterns and opportunitiesPromote effective and consistent communication – both within your team and cross-departmental, including both verbal and written updates to management on the progress of workProactively identify solutions to enhance the existing Business Intelligence infrastructure, including processes and technologyPerforms other related duties as required or requested.
 

Qualifications include:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or TechnologyMinimum of 6 years’ experience in developing and designing reports and data visualizationsStrong expertise in Salesforce platform data initiatives.Proficiency in advanced analytics tools is required (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, AWS).Experience in SharepointExperience in data mapping and modellingExperience in SQL is a plusExperience in being part of a software product team or BI product team is a plus

Experience handling procurement or spend data is a plus
