The Role
As a Senior Requirements Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be responsible for testing and evaluating systems, components and equipment under real-world conditions.
Day-to-day, you’ll conduct trials to ensure equipment and systems meet design specifications, safety standards and operational requirements.
Review technical specifications and design documentation to define testing criteria Perform on and off-site trials, including prototype testing and performance evaluations Collect and analyse data from trials to assess performance, reliability and safety Prepare detailed test reports, including findings, conclusions and recommendations Investigate and diagnose issues discovered during trials
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and can be based out of Bristol, Walsall or Plymouth.
Experience required of the Senior Requirements Engineer
Profiency in testing tools, equipment and software Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and / or software systems Strong understanding of design principles, processes and techniques Testing and/or validation experience highly desirable Knowledge of industry specific standards (MIL-STD, ISO, AS9100)
Qualifications for the Senior Requirements Engineer
Degree level qualified in relevant engineering subject (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace etc)

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
