What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will be responsible for acting in a senior capacity within the entire Announcement Capture team within RBC Investor Services. You will be reviewing corporate action notices from multiple vendors, setting up notices and ensuring they are verified internally for accuracy, consistency and completeness, as well as managing inquiries received within the Announcement Capture team.
What will you do?
Ensure corporate action notices are set up/released in an accurate and timely manner within established timeframes.Ensure 100% accuracy of all notices sent to clients.Monitor assigned Notification Queues throughout the day to ensure all outstanding items are actioned or escalated for review.Where exception processing is required, notify all impacted parties via email and/or team meetings as procedures dictate.Identify and work with management to resolve any escalation issuesEnsure all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.Identify processes and procedures that may require improvement and, recommend changes that will enhance operational efficiency and reduce potential risk.Other duties as assignedWhat do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Post-secondary educationMinimum 5 years’ experience in EntitlementsExcellent understanding of Corporate Action principlesAbility to effectively manage client service issuesMicrosoft Office skillsIn depth knowledge and experience across all Corporate ActionsExcellent knowledge of all custody systemsNice-to-have:
