\nThe Revenue Accountant Role allows you to grow in your expertise in the technical application of ASC 606 in complex deal structures while learning about the end to end quote to cash process. This role works cross functionally with other teams in Finance and other parts of the business which allows you to increase your business acumen beyond your accounting knowledge..
\nThings You’ll Do
\n\nComplete contract deal reviews and ensure appropriate application ASC 606 \nPartner with FP&A and Operational Deal Supporting Teams to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting of revenue\nAssist in month, quarter and annual finance close processes\nPrepare journal entries and prepare reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP\nWork closely with internal and external auditors\nAssist in the preparation of schedules and financial statements for quarterly reviews and annual audits\nAssist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and best practices\nAutomate accounting processes as well as other business processes\nAssist in researching accounting guidance and analyze how it affects the Company\nHelp with other accounting duties and ad-hoc requests as they come\n\nWhat We’re Looking For On Your Resume
\n\nMaster’s degree in Accounting and 2+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills\nAbility to remain flexible in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment\nKnowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)\nAble to work within a team environment effectively, as well as function independently\nGreat oral and written communication skills to interact with upper levels of management\nPreferred CPA certification or working towards a CPA license\nExperience with NetSuite, VBA macros, AI and other data analytics tools\nPrevious SaaS experience is a plus\n\nWhat You Should Know About This Team\n\nWe are a goal-oriented team that works hard and grows and learns together, but always make time for fun too!\nWe care about details and getting our Financial Statements right.\nWe live OneTeam values through collaborating with stakeholders and striving to make end to end processes better for the company.\n\nOur Team’s Favorite Perks and Benefits
