Job Summary
As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing, recording, and reporting revenue streams in line with Newell Accounting standards. You will ensure timely account reconciliations, generate detailed reports, and analyze financial data to support informed business decisions. You will be part of a dynamic team within the Accounting Center of Excellence, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to drive financial accuracy and efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Financial Close Management: Execute month-end close activities, including calculations and journal entries, ensuring timely completion and compliance with Newell Policies. Data Management: Maintain and update customer program terms and promotions in standardized formats, enhancing data collection through BI/VBA connections. Revenue Audit Support: Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audit requests, ensuring proper documentation and compliance. Balance Sheet Consolidation: Regularly consolidate balance sheet positions at the customer/business level, identifying discrepancies and coordinating reviews with stakeholders. Project Participation: Standardize and integrate processes within the Accounting Center of Excellence, supporting company initiatives related to Invoice-to-Net accounts. Business Analysis: Conduct reviews of P&L accounts to identify trends, errors, and variances, collaborating with finance partners for insights. Team Development: Maintain standard operating procedures for task rotation, assist in onboarding new team members, and represent the Team Leader as needed. Continuous Improvement: Analyze root causes of discrepancies and propose adjustments, actively participating in periodic closing processes and projects.
What You’ll Need
Minimum:
Accountancy degree or equivalent qualifications (US GAAP/SOX knowledge required). 4-5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Accounting, preferably in an international environment. Strong understanding of P&L and balance sheet impacts. Fluent English (written and spoken) Familiarity with SAP and Blackline or similar financial systems.Your advantage:
