ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager, this position will be the focal contact person with the business analysis group for revenue recognition processes. This individual is responsible for certain key contra-revenue reserve and reporting, to make sure current processes are compliant with SOX control. The individual will also work closely with internal stakeholders for system integration and automation projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work with Pricing team to ensure proper Reserves Programs are set up in the system;Calculate and analyze monthly Customer Incentive Offering for revenue reserve requirements for all Western Digital revenue entities, and prepare journal entries to record reserve adjustments as appropriate;Analyze the reserve fluctuation to support business requirements;Calculate monthly Open RMA reserve accruals, and prepare and post journal entries as appropriateReconcile contra-revenue related GL accountsAssist or lead related revenue projects to improve functional efficiency;Assist SOX Documentation Update and internal / external audits for Revenue function;Assist Revenue Accounting Manager and Sr Accounting Manager with ad hoc tasks as assigned.Qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration with 8 or more years of relevant experience in multinational company or shared services center.The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.Experience with revenue transactions with distributor and OEM customers within the semiconductor industry a plusPreferred :
Proficient in Business Intelligence preferred; experience in Oracle Cloud environments a plusStrong knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition fundamentalsAn excellent written and verbal communication skill in English is a must. Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people as a team member. Strong ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, as well to multi-task and meet deadlines. Outstanding performer and obtain recognition in current jobs.Skills :
