The Senior Revenue Operations Specialist, Aerospace & Defense plays a critical role within our global Aerospace and Defense sales organization with an objective of revenue operational excellence. The focus of this role falls into several area of sales excellence and commercial business process optimizing. As the revenue operations specialist, you will manage, train, and implement our sales tools and sales processes to empower our sales team to move to customer centric and this position will also use analytics to enable sales efficiency and effectiveness. Candidates for this role must be able to work out of our Bloomington, MN office.

Role Responsibilities:

Sales Excellence

Work closely with sales leadership to continuously optimize commercial business processes, incorporating internal and external sales excellence practices

Develop and implement systems, processes, tools and reports to maximize sales personnel productivity and efficiency and drive profitable revenue growth

Collaborate with pricing team and finance team bi-annually to develop and deploy pricing and forecasting excellence processes and tools

Execute global sales training programs to align with global A&D strategic priorities

Lead customer experience improvement initiatives in partnership with sales, customer service and operation teams and A&D leaders

Design, pilot and deliver tools that expediate the execution of key sales activities globally

Partner with marketing and product management to execute initiatives that result in share expansion

Collaborate with other sales operations teams on efficiencies, new tools, CRM development, cross-business projects

Perform data mining on sales and pipeline data to generate insights that forecast future revenue

Lead acquisition, design and use of business analytics capabilities that provide insights to measure and drive revenue growth

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or at least 5+ years of direct sales/revenue operations experience.

3+ years of sales operations, revenue operations, sales, or customer enablement experience.

1+ years of experience working with data analytics and reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills coupled with a curious mature and aptitude to create solutions

Strong relationship management in a global matrixed environment\

Ability to deal with ambiguity

Strong CRM background

Comfortable with situations involving risk and uncertainty

Strong communication skills and comfortable providing updates to management team(s)
