Senior Rewards Manager

It is crucial to have market competitive, innovative, and motivational reward strategy and programs to attract and retain talents, and more importantly drive right behaviors in line with business priorities.

Job Mission:

This position is responsible for optimizing & implementing innovative rewards programs, people analytics, digital tools and contributing to implementing retail compensation and forward-looking pay analysis that serve the Chanel difference, drive the desired behaviors, and enhance employee experience.

Meanwhile, as rewards expertise, the role provides consultation and expert advice to HRBP and division business needs to support rewards cycles (e.g. JE, Pay Review, Salary Proposals and etc.) and ad hoc Rewards projects as assigned designing.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Compensation Effectiveness Analysis & Review

Conduct deep dive analysis on key retail incentive measurements to provide insights for pay effectiveness and investment decision.Conduct scenario planning & modelling to address evolving biz needs/model and drive desired behaviors.Work closely with business and finance to monitor retail variable cost spending and effectiveness.Revisit and Propose Retail Compensation structure along with business evolvement, org change or new role creation

Retail Incentive Optimization & Governance

Enhance governance mechanism on the reward functional aspects to enhance effectiveness and ensure compliance & accuracy.Explore opportunities on Retail Incentive scheme simplification and standardization through E2E process (budget to pay review)Lead the development and implementation of system roadmap to unleash the potential of the tool by live dashboard and providing transparency on retail incentive schemes with People Tech expertise.Support the retail comp analytics in other APAC markets by leveraging the China experiences.

People Analytics

Perform analysis on people cost to support full year budget cycle, provide in-depth insights on cost forecasting and landing deviations.Strengthen people cost budget effectiveness and governance through setup clear assumptions and governance on various Rewards items.Develop HR dashboards and tracking metrics to create transparency and robust mechanism to support decision making.

Rewards Partnership

Provide professional consultancy and governance on Job Evaluation, Offering, Mobility and annual compensation review process.

Other Rewards Related Projects

Support and manage rewards projects as assigned.Keep abreast of emerging market trend and network with industry peers.

Role Specifications: 

 
             

Academic / Professional Qualifications

Bachelor Degree with major in Business/Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related discipline.Fluent in Chinese and English.

Work Experience &  Required Competencies

Minimum 6-8 years' with specialized experience in rewards CoE management, preferably in multinational organizations, retail business or companies in innovative industries.Strong expertise and market intelligence in retail compensation/incentive.Competent in data modelling, analytics with foresights and insightsHighly meticulous, organized and results oriented.High learning agility.Strong capability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills to engage professionally with different levels of stakeholders for close work partnership locally, regionally and globally.Strong experience implementing rewards projects to local market under regional/global design.Knowledgeable in interpreting data and applying modeling methodology to optimize plan design and outcome.Knowledgeable in designing retail sales commission / incentive plans is an advantage.Well versant with job evaluation methodology is an advantage.Strong drive to make things happen.Strong written and verbal communication skills, together with strong presentation skills.Agile, ability to use discretion and deal effectively with uncertainty, change and ambiguity.Innovative, open-minded, proactive, independent and customer orientated.Strong understanding of the Brand, Business and Retail.Strong experience in using common HRIS, Power BI or other analysis tools. Emotionally grounded and humble.
