Our Sensor and Software Systems division invites qualified candidates to apply for our Senior Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer opening! This position is responsible for performing research projects, making technical presentations and publishing research papers, preparing research proposals, and conducting research on theoretical and experimental applications of RF technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- A minimum of eight years of directly related experience
- Understanding of practical RF implementations with skills in RF modeling and experimentation and an interest in continuous learning
- Experience with modeling tools such as MATLAB, CST, GNU Radio, Python, etc.
- Solid attention to detail and deadlines
- Solid team player
- Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
- Master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 10 years of directly related experience.
- Proven research experience with signal processing modeling and simulation.
- Skillful application of RF analysis techniques and proven history of applying simulation tools to characterize RF phenomenology
- A basic understanding of, or exposure to the following is a plus, but not required:
o Radar signal processing fundamentals
o RF Tomography
o Electronic Warfare
o Software Defined Radios
- Active TOP SECRET clearance is desired, but not required
- Experience working with socially and culturally diverse communities
