Job Title: RF engineer

Description

•\tSupport development of RF hardware systems through the development lifecycle, from system requirements definition through to delivery

•\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications to ensure seamless integration and interoperability. Support development of system architecture and implement the design to meet the architecture

•\tCreate hardware designs (with supporting technical justification artifacts) and support assembly, integration, and testing. Activities may include:

•\tIdentify and select RF systems components (for example: active and passive devices, antennas, connectors, cables, physical enclosures, etc.)

•\tConduct supporting analyses to inform/justify decisions (e.g. RF link budgets)

•\tSupport assembly, initial operation, and check out of system (including definition of test plans)

•\tNear term tasking may be related to RF systems for airborne applications, but you may be tasked on other applications as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications

•\tUnderstanding of and experience with RF systems and their principles of design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis.

•\tDemonstrated experience in delivery of advanced development hardware.

•\tCapable of effectively working in a team environment, often under tight deadlines.

•\tExperience in preparing and delivering briefings, familiarity with the execution of technical reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TIMS)

•\tBackground should include a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of applicable experience; Master’s degree and at least 3 years of applicable experience; or PhD. Equivalent experience will be considered

Nice to have:

•\tActive Secret or Top Secret security clearance

•\tDemonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: radar systems, electronic warfare, microwave engineering, analog and digital signal processing, embedded software development, physics modeling and simulation

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $135000.00 - $160000.00
