HR Sr. Risk & Compliance Program Manager
The HR Sr. Risk & Compliance Program Manager will report into the HR Head of Risk & Compliance. They will be responsible for end-to-end project and program management focused on global and regional Risk & Compliance programs driven by eBay business needs! This role will be the connector between Internal Audit and the HR Team (People Team at eBay) managing audit processes/responses and deliverables. They will lead and support risk reduction initiatives and partner with Privacy, Data Retention, InfoSec, & Government Relations to identify, interpret and operationalize compliance requirements.
What You Will Accomplish:
Help build the key compliance activities for People Team roadmaps
Partner with the eBay Legal team members, to co-ordinate and support compliance requirements for the People Team
Co-ordinate monthly compliance dashboard updates and publication
Own the optimization of People Team outcomes from internal audits
Lead and support key projects and change management initiatives improving compliance programs
Collaborate with People Team colleagues to embed Compliance requirements into key processes/tools
Interpret and lead People Team changes underpinning legislative alignment
Collaborate with other Program Enablement Team (PET) members, Operations, and Development team members in using and refining our project management infrastructure, processes, tools and techniques
Co-ordinate/support the gathering of documents for data subject access requests (SARS)
Identify and lead risk reduction initiatives that deliver positive results for the People Team/eBay
Collaborate with key collaborators in Legal, Audit, Data Governance and Infosec to and deliver proactive initiatives and awareness campaigns
Prepare regular updates to ensure insights are shared with the relevant Collaborators
What You Will Bring:
Dedication to work eBay’s Hybrid Model with 3 days onsite per week based out of our Toronto office
7+ Years Work experience in HR with a focus on Audit, Compliance, Policy, Risk Mitigation, or Legal matters
5+ years of professional experience in a global, fast-paced and vibrant environment
5+ Years of Program or Project Management within the HR realm
Working experience with SmartSheets (building roll ups and widgets), the Google Suite, and Service Now systems is helpful.
Passion for eBay’s purpose driven nature and an interest in compliance, legal or similar
CERTIFICATIONS
IAPP certified or studying towards CIPM, CIPP/E or CIPP/US preferred
Risk Management certification a distinct advantage
