Position SummaryWe’re currently looking for a Senior Risk Management Analyst to join our Workers’ Compensation team.
This role will be responsible for life of claim management & administration. This person will be instrumental in negotiating and managing claims, analyzing claims data and collaborating with our Third-Party Administrator (TPA), Safety, and Operations to reduce costs and financial exposure, manage liabilities and ensure compliance with government regulations.
This will be a HYBRID schedule in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday @ Bridgestone HQ (Nashville, TN).
ResponsibilitiesReview and document all worker’s compensation claims data, investigating cause of reported claims, and supporting the determination of compensability of all accidents/injuries.
Closely manage all in-house claims and collaborate with our Third-Party Administrator and other vendors.
Communicate effectively with teammates, internal customers, clients, outside counsel, and management.
Provide direction on claims dispositions, negotiations, reserve adequacy, and subrogation
Ensure reserve accuracy and action plans are defined.
Analyze, develop, and provide comprehensive reports to management identifying trends with recommendations strategy
Bachelor Degree required preferably in Risk Management, Insurance or a related field of study.
5+ years full-time claims management experience with Retail/Manufacturing experience.
Strong technical claims knowledge
Knowledge of insurance policy language and insurance coverage
Present and support training programs regarding workers compensation claims.
Strong Microsoft Office skills
