We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Risk Specialist** to join our team! **What You'll Be Doing:** + Part of your role will also involve updating the risk register to make sure the risks are up to date and that appropriate risk treatment is in place and is acted upon. + Providing regular reports to project and risk and value managers will also ensure that the risk statuses of the projects are monitored efficiently. + Supporting the development of Project Risk Management Execution Plans that are right-sized to project needs and meet existing project risk expectations/requirements. + Facilitate the identification and analysis of risk management on projects throughout the project lifecycle. + Carry out qualitative, quantitative assessments to give the best advice to project managers and sponsors on proposed risk-based contingencies. + Manage so that projects have a risk register, the risk data is accurate, timely and relevant and that appropriate risk responses are in place and being acted upon. + Provide regular reports to project managers on the risk status of projects and provide advice on the management of contingency. + Assists in the development of management reporting related to changes in the risk profile. + Can confidently explain the value and benefits of risk management to stakeholders. + Facilitate and capture lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle for projects and turnarounds. + Trains and ensures all assigned project team members are aware of their responsibilities to understand and manage the key risks within their scope. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) + 13+ years of experience in related field. + Able to coach and challenge management and non-specialists on the results of risk management + Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required. + Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate tools for use on project.
