Leading land development firm Poulos & Bennett is actively seeking a Senior Roadway Design Engineer for immediate employment in their Orlando, Florida office. This position provides a unique opportunity to join an established, well-respected, and growing Land Planning, Civil Engineering, and Construction Management firm with a variety and diverse range of projects. Responsibilities Design and analysis of horizontal and vertical alignmentsPrepare roadway plan set components including plan, profile, cross section, and detail sheetsCalculate quantities and prepare construction cost estimatesPrepare design documentationGeneral understanding of Preliminary drainage design and secondary drainage design and analysis on roadway projects.Work with other disciplines on creative solutions to design challengesCoordinate with design team and sub-consultantsDevelop and mentor junior staff Qualifications 5-15 years of Roadway Design experienceBS in Civil or Environmental EngineeringExperience with MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D requiredExposure to and general understanding of permitting process, codes, and criteriaLicensed Professional Engineer (Florida) preferred Preferred Qualifications Strong roadway design backgroundAbility to think criticallyAbility to work well in a team environmentAble to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesHighly organized/Self-motivatedStrong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Options Apply for this jobApplyShare Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
