Job Description

Required Education:

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field required

Required Experience:

2-5 years of experience in 5G, 4G LTE-A, LTE, and IMS/VoLTE mobile device/modem protocol stack developmentExpertise in log analysis of LTE modem protocol stack using Qualcomm tools like QXDM, QPST, bug reports, NV items, MCFG, and firmwareExperience with lab conformance, GCF-PTCRB certification, operator acceptance testing, protocol testing, field testing, and application testing

Core Responsibilities:

Develop and integrate cellular and wireless connectivity drivers and firmwareOptimize system performance and power consumption for wireless subsystemsTroubleshoot and debug connectivity issues using Qualcomm toolsEnsure compliance with regulatory and carrier certification requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams on system integrationPerform lab testing and field validation of connectivity featuresMaintain and improve existing connectivity codebaseCreate technical documentation and specifications

Required Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of Linux kernel architecture and Android frameworkExtensive experience in C/C++ programmingProficiency in device driver development and integrationExperience with common hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, etc.)In-depth understanding of 5G, 4G LTE-A, LTE, and IMS/VoLTE protocols and architecturesExperience with Qualcomm chipsets and development tools (QXDM, QPST, QFIL, etc.)Knowledge of cellular certification processes (GCF, PTCRB, carrier-specific)Understanding of wireless security protocols and implementationsExperience with protocol analysis and debuggingExposure to system-level optimizations for power and performance

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Android framework and HAL developmentUnderstanding of cellular network architectures (4G/5G)Familiarity with wireless coexistence and RF optimizationExperience with automated testing frameworks

We are seeking an experienced Qualcomm platform/ Connectivity Software Engineer with expertise in 5G, 4G LTE-A, LTE, and IMS/VoLTE mobile device and modem protocol stacks.

Position Overview: Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, integrating, and optimizing wireless connectivity solutions for our Android-based embedded systems. strong background in cellular and wireless technologies, as well as proficiency in using Qualcomm's diagnostic and development tools.
