The Senior Sales Analyst provides direct support to members of the Kroger Meals and Beverages Customer Team, assisting with sales data analysis, trend analysis, general reporting, financial management and daily monitoring of business trends and performance. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively analyze and communicate business performance, while assisting in the strategy necessary to achieve profit, volume and share growth targets. This person should be adaptable to the changing needs of the business and be able to shift focus accordingly. This person will need to be highly organized, goal oriented, proactive in their approach, with a positive, team-player attitude. This position works in a customer team office located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Some travel required.
What will you do...
• Provide actionable data to sales team to identify and realize all potential business opportunities.
• Proactively analyze account and market trends, and recap competitive and market intelligence.
• Analyze data from multiple sources to generate effective pre-promotion forecasting and planning, and post-promotion analysis to measure effectiveness on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Assist in developing sales presentations to collaboratively gain account's support of innovation and promotions.
• Present data in clear, concise and effective manner to all levels of account and sales team.
• Provide ad hoc reporting for situational analysis, as needed
• Create and distribute sales reports to include weekly sales and trends, market share, new launch performance, space productivity, account specific reports.
• Participate in category reviews and strategic account planning meetings (JBP, QBR)
• Drive new approaches to analyzing business results and trends
• Establish strong customer rapport and reliability within account to become trusted advisor.
• Consistently provide all requested information in an accurate and timely manner
• Proactively scorecard and communicate DSMP (Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, and Pricing) principles.
Assess any customer's competitive position, behaviors and strategies and understand how they align with Campbell's strategic goals to help determine a customer investment strategy (use of trade, customer shopper marketing, and integrated marketing equities) that will best support a joint plan to benefit Campbell's and the customer's revenue, profit and share growth. Develop productive working relationship with key decision makers at various levels within the customer's organizational structure. Requires cross-functional interaction within the customer team (Sales Finance, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Customer Development & Sales Strategy) as well as with Headquarter personnel (Sales Strategy, Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, etc.) to varying degrees depending on the size, complexity and strategic importance of the customer.

Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$75,300-$108,200Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
