Job Summary:
The basic function of the Sales Associate is to sell La-Z-Boy products and services. This involves using and developing all selling and customer service skills trained to meet and exceed company goals. All Sales Associates are responsible for achieving store goals and maintaining the trust and loyalty of all of La-Z-Boy’s customers and team members and providing the highest level of customer service.Competitive earnings potential: UNCAPPED commissions on WRITTEN Sales
Pay:$170 per day for two weeks with no commission
After training end: $44,200 salary against commission on written sales.
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):
Interact with customers appropriately and professionally by providing the highest level of customer service to all current and future customersDrive sales by contributing to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories, and services offered by La-Z-BoyComplete all sales paperwork and customer service issues in a timely mannerAttend and participate in company training, store meetingAssist to train, coach and develop new peers on La‐Z‐Boy product knowledge and selling process/skills to achieve store sales goalsAccurately complete order information, collect deposits and fees, keep orderly customer records, and research customer payments and deliveriesFollow company procedures and policies. Including policies against harassment, attendance, sales policies and procedures and customer interactionSCOPE & IMPACT: Perform a minimum number of house calls to customer homesMaintain a sales average consistent with Company StandardsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma or GEDStrong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influenceVocational or technical training in field of studyBending, lifting, and standing for long periods of timeReliable transportation to drive to customer homesPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferredOrganizational and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding and ability to word with computer technologySUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A
