What is the US Sales Support group responsible for?The US Sales Support team provides administrative, risk and project management support to the Retirement & Insurance, National Accounts, Wealth Management and Institutional Sales Teams. Our team is focused on being a valued partner always providing support to our sales teams, enabling them to primarily focus on client engagement activities to accelerate growth and retain assets.
What is the Senior Sales Coordinator responsible for?Act as administrative subject matter expert and point of contact for general inquiries
Coordinate the setup of meetings and conferences; including but not limited to room reservation, material prep, calendar coordination, catering
Send promotional items and marketing materials
Manage invoice processes, maintain budget reporting in partnership with Finance
Manage compliance process in partnership with management, obtaining proper documentation and approvals
Focus on the customer, both internal and external clients
Proactively builds effective working relationships, supports the team and the organization
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Senior Sales Coordinator?Actively participates in or manages important projects and initiatives which result in improved efficiency in operations and alignment with sales goals
Works collaboratively and intra-departmentally across the organization. Exposure and strong networking within Franklin Templeton
Champions new initiatives and partners with management on initiatives to increase revenue and achieve sales objectives
Establishes goals and priorities for self, consistently works on personal development
Demonstrate critical thinking and independently resolve issues
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
3+ years administrative experience in professional environment
Experience working with CRM software, e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Experience in the Financial Services Industry recommended
Proven ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid organizational skills: ability to organize and maintain accurate, orderly files and records
Strong attention to detail; ability to accurately proofread documents
Strong customer service skills
Excellent phone etiquette
Strong professional attitude and demeanor
Flexibility to work independently and in a team environment
Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the base salary for this position to be $60,000– $75,000 per year.
