We are seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative to join our Global team.
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Sales, the Senior Sales Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and pursuing potential small-medium scale customers by initiating outbound communication and supporting acquisition sales planning. In this role you will focus on generating new sales opportunities, driving revenue growth, and effective collaboration.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, working with SAAS, software etc.
Fluency in both Spanish and English languages.
It would be great if you also had . . .
Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Experience using a sales software platform (Salesforce.com, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator etc.)
Familiarity with research, higher education, instructional design and/or libraries highly desirable.
What will you be doing in this role?
Achieve sales goals by identifying and pursuing new business and upselling opportunities.
Engage with potential small-scale customers through outbound phone calls and emails, webinars, and other digital sales channels to convert leads into new business.
Continuously build knowledge of Clarivate products and services to effectively position solutions and address the needs of prospective customers.
Participate in webinars and online demos, sharing insights on market trends, customer needs, and sales opportunities with the broader team.
Maintain outbound lead generation volumes as set by Sales Management to ensure consistent prospect engagement and productivity.
Identify and target new roles within potential customer organizations to expand business opportunities.
Achieve activity targets as given by management.
Utilize existing sales tools to required standards.
Provide accurate reporting and forecasting information via company platforms as required by management.
Assist in training and onboarding for incoming SDRs, whenever applicable.
About the Team
Reporting to the Sales Development Global Manager, Jen Steiner, based in the US.
The Sales Development team collaborates closely with internal teams and external customers; 25% of your time will be spent working with Marketing, Sales Reps, or other Business Development colleagues and 75% of your time will be spent working with external customers in the research space and academia & government market.
You will have the opportunity and are encouraged to frequently collaborate with your Sales Development team members across the globe to help develop a clear understanding of the role and build successful marketing initiatives for your region.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time permanent position based in Barcelona, Spain and will require hybrid working in our Barcelona office (2 days per week in office, rest of week remote).
This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
