The ChallengeWe're looking for a Senior Sales Engineer (SE) to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving business development and sales growth by providing technical expertise, competitive positioning, and product evaluation support specifically for OneTrust’s Consent and Preference Management platform. Your technical guidance will ensure prospects and customers understand how OneTrust’s solutions meet their business objectives and regulatory compliance needs.
Your Mission Serve as a technical expert on systems integrations during sales opportunities, focusing on the OneTrust Consent and Preference Management solutions. Lead the preparation and delivery of proposals, RFP responses, and custom proof-of-concept demonstrations to showcase OneTrust’s integration capabilities. Engage in technical deep-dive discussions, advising customers on best practices for architecting consent and preference management solutions that align with their business needs. Support Sales Teams in client meetings, and presentations, and design custom integrations that address specific consent and preference management requirements. Collaborate with internal teams such as R&D, product development, and partner integration teams to stay informed of the latest platform capabilities and future product roadmaps. Conduct custom proofs-of-concept to demonstrate OneTrust’s ability to integrate with client systems and manage consent and preferences effectively. Stay up-to-date with industry trends in privacy and consent management, including changes in regulatory requirements, competitive solutions, and evolving customer needs. You Are Adaptable and eager to stay informed of industry trends and OneTrust’s evolving technology landscape, ensuring you can offer up-to-date solutions and advice to customers. Your Experience Includes BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience. 6+ years of relevant experience in the technology industry, preferably in enterprise cloud-based software. Expertise in selling, configuring, and delivering software demonstrations, specifically in consent and preference management. Hands-on experience with integrating software products into enterprise environments, particularly with tools such as REST APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with cloud technologies and modern platforms like Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift (preferred). Strong knowledge of web applications, SaaS architecture, cloud computing, and experience with technologies such as Powershell scripting, ASP.NET, or C# (a plus). Proven ability to collaborate across internal teams, including R&D, sales, engineering, and marketing, to deliver solutions that meet customer expectations.For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
