Senior Sales Executive, Sustainable Finance, Americas
Overview Job Purpose The Sustainable Finance Sales team is part of the ICE Sales organization and instrumental in driving sales opportunities through the full sales lifecycle. The Sales Executive will act as an SME to position ICE Sustainable Finance related products to Financial Services market participants and drive pipeline generation, commercial negotiations, and prioritizing product strategy with key internal cross-divisional stakeholders. Responsibilities Ability to develop relationships and cultivate long-term partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders Manage Sustainable Finance related opportunities through the full sales lifecycle Generate pipeline through sales campaigns and direct market outreach by matching client requirements to products Demo products and articulate key product differentiators to prospects and clients based on market segment and use-case(s) Collaborate with Business Development and Sustainable Finance teams on generating and negotiating commercial terms for Sustainable Finance related opportunities Conduct whitespace analysis and identify market trends to help grow the sales pipeline Monitor, update, and report the Sustainable Finance sales pipeline to cross-divisional management teams Gather client requirements to help prioritize the product strategy and roadmap Help generate thought leadership ideas that may be published in the public domain and used for sales enablement Knowledge and Experience This is a quota bearing role 3- 5 years of sales experience Prior experience in a Climate or ESG related role preferred Extensive experience presenting to clients Ability to effectively communicate with front office users (e.g. Credit, Portfolio Managers, traders, Research, etc..), middle office (risk), and back office within the Financial Services industry. Experienced negotiation skills and effective in closing deals Proficient with SalesForce, Tableau and Excel Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week. New York Base Salary Range The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 106,000 - 166,800 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s rewarding and uncapped sales commission incentives. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
