Reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team environment where your ideas are valued, and your success is celebrated. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the full sales cycle – from discovery and consultative conversations to proposals and onboarding – all while helping schools improve the way they operate and educate.
What you’ll be doing:
Building relationships with school leaders and decision-makers to understand their needs and introduce solutions that make a real difference;Leading engaging presentations, product demos, and tender submissions;Proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities in the education sector;Developing thoughtful proposals and business cases that address school pain points;Collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients;Using Salesforce and other tools to manage your pipeline and stay on top of key sales metrics;Supporting the wider sales team by sharing insights, helping to improve processes, and mentoring new team members as we grow;Representing Sentral with authenticity and professionalism in all interactions.About YouYou’re a natural relationship-builder who enjoys meaningful conversations and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, consultative solutions. Whether you’ve come from a tech background or spent time working in or with schools, what matters most is your ability to connect, listen, and guide.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
5+ years of experience in business development, ideally with a focus on new client acquisition;Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders;A passion for innovation in education, with experience in SaaS, CRM, FinTech, or EdTech highly regarded;Experience in or a connection to the education sector (e.g., former teacher, school admin, or EdTech);A collaborative, team-first mindset – we value empathy as much as we do ambition;Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload;Proficiency with digital tools and CRM platforms (Salesforce experience a plus);A valid Australian driver’s licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel when needed.Please note that you must have:

Salary and location
