Senior Sales Executive (Public Sector & Defense) - location Ukraine

The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for focusing on complex sales engagements (either partner-driven or direct) with key customers in Ukraine’s Public Sector (central/local governments and state-owned enterprises) and Defense sector (public and private).

The Sales Executive is building high-trust and thought-leadership relationships, tackling pain points and positioning holistic value of SAP products for their customers at all organisational levels.

The Sales Executive acts as SAP brand ambassador in Ukrainian market.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- execution of SAP strategy and priorities to help Public Sector & Defense customers becoming intelligent enterprises;

- close coordination with international donors, IFIs regarding Ukraine’s Public & Defense Sectors digitization programs, incl GovTech;

- active participation in in-country conducted external forums, representing SAP and positioning its products. Performing as Social media SAP ambassador in the market, including business social media;

- contribution into demand generation and marketing activities for respective territories, with special attention to Cloud and AI;

-  supporting SAP certified partner ecosystem in enablement for Public Sector, Airspace & Defence, awareness for international donor programmes for digitization initiatives;

- participation in SAP Ukraine activities and processes;

- driving sales process:

effective alignment and collaboration with internal local and regional Customer Success teams for respective customer segment; internal cooperation with Government Affairs, Public Sector and Airspace & Defense Industry Business Units, Finance, Legal, Office of Ethics & Compliance, Public Sector & A&D account teams globally; responsibility for creation, monitoring and review of sales pipeline, with consideration of  solution & industry specialization areas, to meet the KPIs; ensuring high conversion rate from pipeline to deal closure, via robust deal qualification; shortening the sales process and improvement of win rate to achieve the real volume business; being an expert on the competitive landscape; effectively use SAP and local market resources (battle cards, marketing collaterals, references, data analytics, etc);

- ongoing active learning within SAP, as well as within local environment (eg defense landscape), incl via open and active communication within SAP

 

Requirements & Skills:

- 10+ years of B2B sales experience. Public Sector and/or Defense is a plus. Successful sales track record and excellent market reputation is must;

- understanding indirect B2B sales dynamics;

- knowledge of Ukrainian corporate digitization market is a plus;

- local corporate market network. Public Sector and/or Defense is a plus;

- high level of energy, autonomy, proactivity, creativity and innovative ideas, discipline, accuracy and responsibility;

- great communicator and team player;

- active business social media player, public speaker is a plus

- languages: English - advanced+; Ukrainian - fluent
