The team you will be a part of

The Channel Sales team is responsible for selling products and services to a wide range of highly complex or major accounts and customers and execution of sales plans, targets and budgets within the overall regional and business unit sales strategy. Accountable for increasing sales/client ratio and expanding customer base.

This role in summary

Responsible for delivering the financial metrics for the laundry category at a national account. This is a unique opportunity to own the laundry P&L and work with Whirpool’s largest US trade customers. In addition, this role is responsible for leading the Sales Execution strategy and communication for the national account they are aligned to. This is a key leadership role that requires working cross-functionally with internal process partners in merchandising, product development, supply chain and sales as well as externally with the assigned trade partner.

Your responsibilities will include Own P&L and relationships with trade partners across all levelsExecute pricing, promotional plans and strategies Execute and build growth plans with focus on draw / conversion initiativesHome Delivery: Continuously improve the home delivery systemDrive change management for transition to Order Commit Develop and own Sales Training and execution for national accountsCross functional team leadershipMinimum requirements Bachelor's degreeP&L responsibility ($50M plus preferred)  Minimum of 5 years of selling or merchandising experience Preferred skills and experiences Ability to drive the business to achieve innovative results and increased ROI for new products and plan to sell.Experience overseeing the execution of innovative, cross-functional, long term business plans which create sustainable advantage in the marketAbility to apply company and trade partner business and financial drivers to budgets to produce agreed upon resultsExperience customizing and delivering proposals and negotiations to the trade to win additional businessExceptional interpersonal and organizational skills Extraordinary verbal, presentation, written and communication skills Ability to work with cross-functional teams to reach common goals Drive to meet timelines, create assessments and be results focused What we offer
