Senior Sales Manager (Digital Media)

Position summary:

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for selling our travel audience solutions to the MEA and APAC region to enterprise travel prospects. The International corporate commercial team is made up of 10 people covering a range of commercial responsibilities for the EMEA and APAC region. The team possess core skills across ad tech, travel and multi-channel digital advertising covering International Corporate clients and media agencies within the region.

What you will do:

Lead in developing, managing and growing an advertising book of business predominantly made up of hotel / airlines / travel brands Create and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth for Sojern’s programmatic advertising products. Experience in managing a sales pipeline from start to finish Work closely with select the MEA and APAC based media agencies and maintain core relationships to help grow the business for their travel and non-travel clients Independently able to maintain and grow a multi million dollar book of business and have deep sales strategy conversations with any of Sojern’s clients Independently create and deliver persuasive presentations that educate the market and demonstrate Sojern’s value proposition Effectively collaborate cross-functionally with vertical sales, account management and product teams to develop relevant advertising programs for key clients, targets and their agencies Stay updated on the latest ad tech advancements, tools, and trends in programmatic advertising to leverage in sales pitches Meet and exceed growing sales targets on a quarterly basis Maintain Salesforce and keep client activity organized Travel Required

What you bring to the table: 

A thorough understanding of the programmatic ecosystem Experience selling self serve and managed IO advertising solutions Experience of building a book of business with the big six media agencies Experience in working with travel brands across the MEA and APAC region. Hotels and Airlines is preferred Comprehensive understanding of sales strategies, market trends, and competitor analysis  Proficiency in standard business and sales software, including Salesforce, Gsuite, and Office products, or similar Ability to build sales plans and RFP responses
