Job Overview: As a Senior Sales Manager at Intertek Assuris Food & Nutrition, you will lead the sales efforts in promoting our food regulatory consulting services, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients across the food and beverage industry. You will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing high-value client accounts, and working closely with the consulting team to deliver tailored solutions to meet client needs while achieving sales targets.. Your deep understanding of the food and supplement industry will help position the company as a trusted leader in regulatory consulting. Key Responsibilities: + Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company objectives and revenue targets, specifically targeting food, supplement, and beverage manufacturers, distributors, and other key industry stakeholders. + Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and continued business growth. + Identify new market opportunities and potential clients, leveraging industry knowledge and networks to expand the company’s client base. + Stay up-to-date on food industry regulations and trends, ensuring that potential clients understand how the firm’s services can help them stay compliant and competitive. + Collaborate closely with the regulatory consulting team to deliver tailored solutions for clients, ensuring that services meet their specific needs. + Prepare and present sales presentations, proposals, and reports to senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders. + Manage key accounts and provide strategic support, ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. + Track and analyze sales performance in collaboration with the Business Development Analyst, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results and maintain growth. + Participate in industry events, webinars, and conferences to enhance company visibility and network with potential clients. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, or related field. + 6+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the food industry or regulatory consulting. + In-depth knowledge of food regulations and compliance standards (e.g., FDA, CFIA, EU regulations) is highly desirable. + Proven track record of successfully driving sales and achieving targets within a consulting or services-based industry. + Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. + Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and strategic thinking. + Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
