Senior Sales Manager for Japan & Korea

ACCOUNTABILITY:
The position will interface across functions to facilitate and lead business initiatives that result in differentiating Lubrizol as a supplier in the coatings target markets and is accountable for leading the sales team to implement the strategy in Greater China area by managing direct global/regional key accounts and channels to the market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the development and execution of sales strategies for PCG Japan and Korea, for existing customers and for new markets and new accounts; Drive the growth of Strategic Regional Accounts like KCC, Kansai, Nippon, Epson, Toyo Ink etc., by closely working with global key account team, building relationship with key contacts in customers and leveraging all resources available to setup the strategic partnerships and growth pipeline; Build up effective distribution networks to cover all the major area / market segments we want to grow, and effective management mechanisms to the distribution partners for their performance, training, inventory, pricing etc. to drive the strong growth. Help sales team to work with cross functional team like Supply Chain, Finance, Production, Logistic both regionally and globally, to manage the whole process of customer experience from demand forecast to collect the payables etc. Responsible to build a strong sales team capable to implement the business strategy with growth mindset and hunter mindset, continue to develop talents, succession plan, and hold the bar of discipline and compliance.
REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
Education & Professional Background:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, chemistry, or chemical engineering. Minimum 10 years of commercial experience of marketing, sales, business operation. Minimum 3 years of people management, distribution / channel management experience is preferred. Experience in Coating industry and marketing segments like New Energy, Automotive, Electronics, Packaging are preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
Commercial development acumen including value chain analysis, customer needs analyses, value proposition. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and team facilitating skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization and business team environment. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills in order to drive results through cross functional environments.
