Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will own & lead the strategic campaign in driving business growth and achieving sales targets in the LNG sector, focusing on regasification terminals and related infrastructure. The role involves identifying opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing technical and commercial solutions, and overseeing the sales lifecycle. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of LNG Liquefaction and regasification process, technology and a proven track record in selling large-scale infrastructure automation and/or electrification solutionsThe work model for the role is: HybridThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Division of ABB across Asia Pacific Region.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tAchieving and exceeding sales targets for LNG regasification segments, driving business growth in the assigned region.•\tIdentifying and developing new business opportunities in the LNG regasification sector, engaging with key decision-makers within the industry, including terminal operators, EPCs, regulatory bodies, and users.•\tBuilding strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders within the LNG regasification ecosystem, positioning the company as a leading solution provider.•\tLeading customer meetings and technical presentations, providing insights on LNG regasification systems, technologies, and operational benefits using ABB ICSS, Terminal Management, and other advanced solutions. Tailor presentations to meet customer needs and highlight the value proposition of the company’s offerings.•\tCollaborating with the tendering team to develop customized commercial proposals and technical solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.•\tConducting in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities within the LNG regasification and LPG terminals sector.•\tWorking closely with engineering, operations, and project management teams to ensure a smooth execution methodology is created per opportunity.•\tLeading commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and closing strategies for LNG terminal projects, ensuring profitable terms and long-term business relationships.•\tRepresenting the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and client workshops to build brand visibility and stay informed on emerging trends in the targeted market.
Qualifications for the roleYou have bachelor’s degree in instrumentation and Control Engineering or another related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in project engineering, strategic sales, or business development, strongly focusing on LNG, oil & gas, or related energy infrastructure industries.Ability to demonstrate proven experience selling LNG regasification terminal solutions or working with large-scale energy infrastructure projects is necessary.Possess strong technical knowledge of LNG regasification processes, technologies, and industry standards, including ICSS, Terminal Management systems, etc.You will have demonstrated ability to develop and manage long-term client relationships, focusing on achieving sales growth.You are excellent communicator with good presentation skills and with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.Passionate and effective in negotiation with track record of closing complex, high-value deals.Ability to travel frequently and work in a fast-paced, regional sales environment.Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite.
