Senior Sales Operations Specialist
Job Description

Join our team at Zendesk as a Sales Operations Senior Analyst on the Global Sales Operations team and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT partners worldwide to enhance our Lead-To-Cash Flow. Zendesk is looking for a curious and driven individual to analyze, scope and partner in solutioning some of our Sales user’s critical system and process requests.

You will be working with a diverse group of individuals enthusiastic about delivering high-impact projects that scale. You'll bring a growth mindset to a growing company.

The ideal candidate must have strong analytics skills, be data-driven, and not be afraid to take initiative to solve for gaps, in a fast-paced environment. Software-as-a-service or other subscription based work experience will be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

Be primary liaison to Manila-Based Sales Shared Services team, discovering opportunities to improve business processes; generate business requirements; document and work with different departments to define and deliver process improvements.

Lead sales system related initiatives and projects (Salesforce integrated tools)

Support, maintain, and continuously improve adoption of sales tech stack

Monitor data and performance of sales and marketing activities to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities; resolve data quality issues if necessary

Discover opportunities to improve business processes; generate business requirements; document and work with different departments to define and deliver process improvements.

Work with global operations teams in AMER, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC to drive adoption of new business and system processes.

Ad-hoc analysis and reporting to help set baseline metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for projects

Demonstrate a keen interest in continuous learning and proficiency in our diverse tech stack; capable of understanding the functionality and basics of tool use and administration

Required:

3 years of Sales or Revenue Operations experience or a solid understanding of sales processes

Must be comfortable using Salesforce or similar CRM/SaaS system

Experience working in a global distributed environment

Experience with Excel/Gsheets (Formulas and pivot tables a must, macros a plus)

Ability to adapt and ask the right questions when put in an unfamiliar setting

Effective communication skills and experience working colleagues from different departments and seniority levels

Ability to identify existing process gaps and collaborate on solutions to resolve them

Positive can-do attitude and growth mindset; comfortable and flexible working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Experience with SQL, Python or other query based languages and/or a strong willingness to learn

Familiarity with a business intelligence tool and data visualization

Experience with vendor management and tool procurement processes

Previous experience as in Sales

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
