Position Overview:
The Senior Sales Proposal Specialist is responsible for managing and creating high-quality responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other sales-related documents. This role requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, and strong collaboration with sales leadership, subject matter experts (SMEs), and internal teams to deliver impactful, brand-aligned proposals.
About Center of Excellence:
Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case of HealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allows the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals.
Your Impact:
RFP Content Management Maintain and update the RFP content library, including templates, standard language, and supporting materials. Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to ensure alignment with organizational messaging. Perform periodic audits to ensure content accuracy and consistency. RFP Intake Management Manage the intake of RFPs and facilitate bid/no-bid decisions with sales leads. Develop proposal project plans, including timelines, priorities, and responsibilities. Lead kick-off and checkpoint meetings to ensure alignment and progress. Continuously improve RFP processes, including implementing AI strategies and maintaining SME lists. Proposal Development and Submission Draft and synthesize proposal narratives, leveraging existing content or creating new material as needed. Work with sales to develop winning themes tailored to customer priorities. Interview SMEs to extract critical information for customized responses. Conduct final quality checks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and professionalism. General Contributions Align proposal strategies with corporate sales objectives. Conduct post-decision reviews to identify improvement opportunities. Balance multiple deadlines and priorities while maintaining high-quality output.What You Bring:
5–7+ years of experience in: Healthcare software and services, including Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, and Dental lines of business. Crafting professional RFP responses, including executive summaries and Q&A content. Managing multiple RFP responses simultaneously across diverse software and service portfolios. Proposal template development aligned with branding requirements. Working with national and regional health plans, Blue plans, and TPAs. Proven ability to meet sales goals under tight deadlines. Strong organizational, time management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proficiency in desktop tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and MS Teams.
