Reporting to the Area General Manager, the Sr. Sales Representative is based in Connellsville, PA and will deliver outstanding sales results by establishing and maintaining relationships with the local highway, commercial and residential construction market for the purpose of selling, servicing, and building relationships within a specific territory. This position has a strong focus on growing existing and prospective customers to increase market share and improving profit margins.

While focusing on growing existing and prospective customers to increase market share and improving profit margins, you will begin your career with a proven leader in the Aggregates industry.Targeting and acquiring new accounts by identifying new customers in commercial and residential construction markets. Working with the region sales team to create strategies to expand markets and increase sales volume within key accounts.Building relationships with customers to create top-of-mind awareness for Heidelberg Materials products.Represent Heidelberg Materials at industry functions and trade shows.Managing activities within assigned cost budgets.Effectively execute administrative duties including but not limited to reports of call, weekly activities, business justifications, and monthly reports. Develop bid strategies on the monthly projects.Prepare reports on customer market spending, where the dollars come from, and future projects.Strengthen and grow existing and new customer relationships.Represent Heidelberg Materials at industry functions and trade shows.
HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORBachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.Minimum 7+ years’ experience selling construction aggregates (granite, fine sand and concrete sand) or related products.Experience in heavy building materials, concrete, asphalt, construction, or building materials distribution channels.Proven track record that shows sales growth.Demonstrable high communication skills (verbal and written).Demonstrable experience working with financial statements.Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.Experience with a CRM (such as Microsoft Dynamics) a plus.Work Environment Role operates primarily in an office environment but requires regular travel, conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
